El Cotillo is a small village in the north of Fuerteventura, in the western seaboard; this town has a small pier that use above all the fisherman of the coast. The port where we can find ships is quite new. The old pier is found in the north of the port, in a short walk by the hill that separates the two piers. Near the old pier there are various bars and restaurants. Near the port the tower "El Tostón " is found, there are extraordinary views from this place.

In the south of this part of the sunny Fuerteventura there are many kilometers of beaches. The beaches of the Cotillo are beautiful and even in a day with many people they are not filled at all.

Some kilometers in the north of El Cotillo there is a lighthouse and a pleasant afternoon walking can be passed through there.

Arriving El Cotillo is possible with public transport. This town is in a short journey of Corralejo in the line 8. The line 7 of Puerto del Rosario to Cotillo goes for the interior of Fuerteventura and travelers can enjoy some beautiful views of mountains and valleys.
